The Health Innovation Fund was set up in 2007 by three leading players in the health care sector: ABN AMRO, Achmea and OPG Groep. The venture capital fund focuses on young, innovative health care start-ups providing technological, modernising solutions for the health care sector. Technopartner, the Dutch Government’s innovation platform, has granted the fund a seed facility , offering considerable advantages in terms of risk diversification, profit improvement and increased financing opportunities for all parties involved.
